INDEPENDENT SECURITY VERIFICATION

Zero cloud uploads. Zero persistence.

Bank statements contain sensitive financial information: routing numbers, full account numbers, payee descriptions, and cash balances. Here is the mathematical and architectural proof that your files never leave your computer.

Architectural Guarantees

How client-side execution protects your data

1. 100% In-Memory Processing (Browser RAM)

When you drop a file onto FinFormat, your browser’s FileReader API reads the file directly into local JavaScript memory (RAM). The parsers, sanitizers, and file generators execute locally. Closing the browser tab instantly deallocates all memory.

2. Zero Cloud Endpoints or Telemetry

FinFormat has no backend database, no upload servers, no cloud storage buckets, and zero analytics scripts. We do not track your IP address, your company name, or your financial numbers.

3. Zero Local Storage Persistence

We never write transaction rows to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, cookies, or URL query parameters. Your financial records are never saved to your browser's persistent disk cache.

Audit It Yourself

How to verify our zero-upload guarantee in 30 seconds

Don’t take our word for it. Open your web browser’s developer tools and verify the network traffic yourself:

  1. Open FinFormat in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect, then switch to the Network tab.
  3. Check the "Preserve log" box and filter by Fetch/XHR.
  4. Drop your bank statement file into FinFormat and click Download Ready File.
  5. Notice: Zero network requests are sent. The counter remains at zero.
  6. Or simply disconnect your computer from the internet (Airplane Mode): the entire converter functions completely offline!
